Labor Working Group
Purpose
We are a University of Minnesota-wide working group for faculty, staff, and students doing research in labor studies, particularly in the areas of labor economics, personnel economics, organizational economics, labor relations, economic demography, and labor and development. Scholars in other disciplines working on labor issues (e.g. sociology or law) are also welcome.
The goals of this group are to:
Share announcements of labor-related talks by seminar speakers who are hosted by working group members' home departments
Organize informal, ad hoc seminars by working group members and their guests
Serve as a reference of who at the University is working on related labor issues (e.g. for student committees, get-togethers, etc)
Serving the vitality of labor studies at the University of Minnesota
